Crypto Terms
Effective date: 1st June 2026
1. About these Terms
1.1 These terms govern the cryptoasset services provided by Pure Payments Inc. (“Pure Payments”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) through the Pure App.
1.2 These terms supplement our Terms of Service and should be read together with our other policies.
1.3 By placing a cryptoasset order or using a Crypto Service, you agree to these Terms.
1.4 Where these Crypto Terms conflict with the Terms of Service concerning a Crypto Service, these Crypto Terms take precedence to the extent of that conflict. The Terms of Service otherwise continue to apply.
2. Definitions
“Cryptoasset” means a digital representation of value supported by Pure Payments, including Bitcoin, Ether, USD Coin and other;
“Crypto Services” means the services described in Section 3;
“External Wallet” means a wallet outside the Pure App, including a self-hosted wallet or an account with another cryptoasset service provider;
“Fiat Currency” means funds denominated in EUR, USD, or another fiat currency supported by Pure Payments.
“Order” means an instruction submitted through the Pure App to purchase, sell, convert, or transfer a supported cryptoasset.
“Supported Network” means a blockchain network expressly identified in the Pure App as available for the relevant cryptoasset transaction.
“Third-Party Provider” means a provider whose services or infrastructure we use to support the Crypto Services.
3. Crypto Services
3.1 Pure Payments provides:
- Deposits and withdrawals of supported cryptoassets;
- Conversion between supported cryptoassets;
- Purchase and sale of supported cryptoassets using fiat currencies;
3.2 The currently supported cryptoassets are Bitcoin (BTC), Etherium (ETH), Cardano (ADA), Dogecoin (DOGE), Polkadot (DOT), Litecoin (LTC), Solana (SOL), Tether (USDT), Ripple (XRP) and USDC. Available trading pairs and transaction methods are displayed in the Pure App and the Website.
3.3 We may introduce additional cryptoassets or change the availability of existing cryptoassets, networks, or trading pairs. Immediate restrictions may be necessary for legal, security, technical, or compliance reasons.
3.5 The crypto services do not include investment, tax, accounting, or legal advice. Making a cryptoasset available does not constitute a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold it.
4. Eligibility
4.1 The eligibility, onboarding, verification, and profile requirements outlined in the Terms of Service apply to the crypto services as well.
4.2 The crypto services are not available to customers located in:
- The United States;
- North Korea;
- Russia;
- Iran;
- Any other jurisdiction that we reasonably determine cannot be served for legal, regulatory, sanctions, or risk management reasons.
4.3 You must not use the crypto services in breach of applicable sanctions or other legal restrictions.
4.4 We may request additional information before enabling the service or processing an order.
5. Cryptoasset balances and access
5.1 Pure Payments maintains records identifying the cryptoasset balance attributable to each Customer.
5.2 Pure Payments controls the private keys used to authorise transfers from wallets under its control.
5.3 You may access and transact with your available balance through the Pure App.
5.4 An amount shown as pending or under review may not be available for conversion or withdrawal until the relevant transaction has been processed.
6. Depositing cryptoassets
6.1 You must use the deposit address and supported network displayed in the Pure App for the relevant cryptoasset.
6.2 Before making a deposit, you must check the cryptoasset, network, address, and any additional information required for the transfer.
6.3 We may request information about the sending wallet, service provider account, origin of assets, or purpose of the transfer.
6.4 To meet our regulatory obligations, we may be required to collect and verify information about a deposit from an external wallet, and carry out a risk assessment on the deposit, before making it available to you.
6.5 We do not provide a recovery service for unsupported assets, wrong network transfers, or transfers made to an incorrect address. Such transfers may result in permanent loss.
7. Cryptoasset withdrawals
7.1 You may request a withdrawal through the Pure App to an external wallet or cryptoasset service provider.
7.2 You are responsible for checking the destination address, supported network, asset, amount, and any required destination information before confirming a withdrawal.
7.3 To meet our regulatory obligations, we may collect certain information from you before or after processing your withdrawal to an external wallet, share that information to the host of that external wallet and verify that the external wallet is owned or controlled by you (in case you are the beneficiary of the transfer).
7.4 We may request further information, delay processing, or reject a withdrawal where reasonably necessary for legal, sanctions, fraud prevention, security, or AML/CTF reasons.
7.5 Once a transaction has been processed in the blockchain network, it may not be possible to cancel, amend, or reverse it.
7.6 We do not provide a recovery service for withdrawals sent to an incorrect address, unsupported network, or an account or wallet you cannot access.
8. Conversion orders and exchange rates
8.1 You may submit orders to:
- Exchange one supported cryptoasset for another;
- Purchase and sell a supported cryptoasset using fiat currencies;
8.2 Available pairs, rates, and applicable transaction information are displayed in Pure APP before confirmation.
8.3 The final order amount is determined before you confirm it. We present you with a final amount shown on the order confirmation screen along with the relevant transaction details.
8.4 Your confirmation authorizes us to debit the relevant available balance and process the order at the confirmed rate.
8.5 We may charge a fee or apply a spread. Transaction information is presented before confirmation.
8.6 If a confirmed order cannot be executed, we will notify you, provided that such notification does not conflict with our regulatory obligations.
9. Refusing your request
9.1 Sometimes we might refuse your request to buy or sell cryptoassets. If this happens we will notify you prior to your acceptance of our quote. We will not be responsible for any losses you suffer as a result.
9.2 We may refuse your request if:
- There is not enough money or cryptoassets in your Pure App account.
- We, or one of the exchanges or third parties we work with to provide our crypto services, are not available (for example, due to service disruption or scheduled maintenance).
- We have good reason to suspect that your instruction was for illegal purposes (for example, to commit fraud).
- We have good reason to believe that your instruction could negatively affect our reputation or goodwill.
- Your use of our crypto services breaches these Terms.
- Our crypto services are not available (for example, as a result of a service or network impact incident).
- We are required to do so to meet our regulatory obligations or a formal request from a competent authority.
9.3 In exceptional circumstances, we reserve the right to determine, acting reasonably, whether an extraordinary event has occurred that prevents us from fulfilling a final order. Such events may include (but are not limited to) system failures, data feed errors, service interruptions or delays or other unforeseen circumstances beyond our control.
9.4 If event listed in 9.3 occurs, we will notify you as soon as reasonably possible. Once notified, you acknowledge and agree that we will not be obligated to complete the affected transaction, and that it will be considered as having been cancelled.
9.5 We may also stop you from placing an order, refuse to execute an order, or reverse any successfully executed order when a verifiable serious technical error or malfunction has occurred (for example, as a result of a service or network impact incident) resulting in an order being placed or executed, in a way not contemplated by these Terms, or in a way that has an obvious error with respect to price, volume, or other parameters resulting in a material deviation from the provided quote or requested transaction details. When this happens, you agree that we are permitted and you hereby authorize us to take all reasonable and necessary steps to restore your account to the position prior to the execution of the erroneous transaction.
10. Fees and limits
10.1 Fees are disclosed in the Pure Payments website or relevant transaction information.
10.2 There is no limit to the amount of cryptoassets you can deposit.
10.3 You authorize us to deduct charges from the relevant transaction amount or available balance.
11. Verification and financial crime controls
11.1 The verification, AML/CTF, sanctions, and monitoring requirements in the Terms of Service apply to the Crypto Services.
11.2 We may request information concerning:
- Ownership or control of an External Wallet or service-provider account;
- The origin and destination of Cryptoassets;
- The identity of the sender or recipient;
- Information about the source of funds and/or source of wealth;
- The purpose and economic rationale of a transaction.
11.3 We may collect, verify, retain, and transmit information required under applicable laws. A transfer between wallets or accounts belonging to the same customer does not automatically remove applicable information requirements.
11.4 We may use Third-Party Providers to support screening, wallet verification, blockchain analysis, and transfer information exchange.
11.5 We may delay, restrict, or refuse a transaction where legally required or reasonably necessary to address a compliance, fraud, sanctions, or security concern.
11.6 We may be unable to disclose particular information where disclosure is prohibited by law or would prejudice an investigation.
12. Cryptoasset risks
12.1 You should understand the following risks before using the Crypto Services:
- Cryptoasset values may change substantially, and you may lose some or all of their value.
- A cryptoasset intended to maintain a stable value (like USDC) may not maintain that value. Its availability and transferability may depend on its issuer and underlying arrangements.
- Congestion, software errors, cyberattacks, protocol changes, and network disruption may delay or prevent transactions.
- Incorrect addresses, unsupported networks, or missing destination information may cause permanent loss.
- You depend on Pure Payments’ systems and key management arrangements to access assets controlled by Pure Payments. Security incidents, operational failures, or insolvency may affect access or recovery.
- Service provider outages, restrictions, or failures may affect execution and settlement.
- The regulation of cryptoassets and crypto service providers can change at any time. Any change is likely to affect the value of any cryptoassets we hold for you.
13. Network changes and unsupported assets
13.1 We do not automatically support a fork, airdrop, replacement token, bridged asset, or network upgrade merely because it relates to a supported cryptoasset.
13.2 If we decide to discontinue support for a cryptoasset or network, we will provide information about available withdrawal or other handling options where reasonably practicable.
13.3 Any conversion of an affected balance will require your instructions unless applicable law or an existing binding instruction permits otherwise.
14. Suspension and closure
14.1 The suspension, restriction, and termination provisions in the Terms of Service apply to the Crypto Services.
14.2 Following closure, we will provide instructions for handling available cryptoasset balances, subject to applicable law, verification, fees, and technical availability.
14.3 Closing your profile does not automatically authorize conversion of a cryptoasset balance into Fiat Currency.
15. Responsibility and third-party dependencies
15.1 You are responsible for the accuracy of the orders and destination information you submit.
15.2 The crypto services depend on blockchain networks and Third-Party Providers. Pure Payments does not guarantee their uninterrupted availability or successful performance.
15.3 To the extent permitted by applicable law, Pure Payments is not responsible for delays or failures caused by external networks or providers outside its reasonable control. This does not exclude responsibility arising from Pure Payments’ own breach or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
16. Privacy and complaints
16.1 Personal information processed in connection with the crypto services is handled under our Privacy Policy.
16.2 Complaints may be submitted to support@purewallet.global and are handled under our Complaints Policy.
17. Changes
17.1 We will notify you of proposed changes to these Crypto Terms before they take effect, in accordance with the Terms of Service and applicable law.
